Ms. Margulis represents institutional investors in connection with securities litigation, appraisal proceedings, and complex commercial disputes.
Jessica Margulis concentrates her practice on securities litigation and complex commercial disputes. Ms. Margulis has represented investors in securities class actions in federal and state courts, shareholder appraisal proceedings in Delaware and other jurisdictions, as well as various bankruptcy matters. Most recently, Ms. Margulis was a key participant in In re Pattern Energy Group Inc. Securities Litigation, No. 1:20-cv-00275-MN-JLH litigation team, which settled on the eve of trial and resulted in a $100 million recovery on behalf of investors.
Ms. Margulis received her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law and graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a B.A. in English Literature. During law school, Ms. Margulis served as a Notes and Articles Editor for the Fordham Intellectual Property, Media, and Entertainment Law Journal.
